Darts referee forced to intervene after ‘wonky’ equipment failure during World Series of Darts Finals

A REFEREE was forced to intervene after a board went wonky during the World Series of Darts Finals. Popular official Huw Ware was on hand to right the board during the quarter-final clash between Josh Rock and Ross Smith. Rock instantly apologised after realising it was himself who had made it wonky. Ware was quick to fix the position of the board as he quickly removed its border. The referee then carefully repositioned the Winmau board so it would be in the correct position. It was eventually correctly placed with the help of Smith, who acted as a second pair of eyes for its placement. Fans saw the funny side of the moment as they reacted on social media.
