But none of them – not her partner Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), not her sister Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) or her daughter Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) – could save Denise from cancer. The acute myeloid leukaemia diagnosis robbed Denise of her strength, independence and even her hair thanks to chemotherapy.
