Dark Matter Author Blake Crouch Teases New Sci-Fi Books Ahead Of Apple TV Return

The main character of that story is NYPD detective Barry Sutton, whose first name can be found at the top of the whiteboard list. Other names on that list, including Helena and Slade, are also those of key Recursion characters at the heart of the original story exploring memory, time travel, and identity. In addition to those enthused by the possibility of more Recursion, other comments expressed excitement about Crouch releasing a new science-fiction book, including from Dark Matter cast member Jimmi Simpson, who wrote, "Thank goodness and thank you." Along with Dark Matter and Recursion, Crouch wrote The Wayward Pines trilogy, which received a two-season television series adaptation produced by M.
