A “DANGEROUS” British fugitive who was set to go on the UK’s Most Wanted list has been arrested near Spain’s Costa Blanca. The 27-year-old, accused of firearms offences and drug trafficking, now faces a possible life sentence according to Spanish police. After several days the team traced the man to a hide-out in Algorfa, near Alicante. Spain’s National Police said: “A search and arrest operation was then carried out, allowing officers to intercept and immediately arrest him.” The force released footage of armed officers confronting and cuffing the shirtless suspect near his home. Later, footage shows cops escorting the man dressed in a blue t-shirt and shorts into custody. Cops said the “extremely dangerous” fugitive was set to be added to the UK’s Most Wanted list before his arrest. He is accused of belonging to an organised crime gang involved in the distribution of cocaine, cannabis and heroin between 2023 and 2024. The suspect has now been brought before Spain’s Central Court, which will begin extradition proceedings to return him to the UK. He is expected to stand trial in the UK. Fugitive Polemos Michael George was seized on an international arrest warrant at Jose Maria Cordova Airport, near the Colombian city of Medellin. Cops confirmed the Brit was wanted by Spain for attempted murder and illegal possession of firearms after a terrifying gun attack in Marbella. Footage released by Colombian police shows George being marched away by armed officers before being fingerprinted and forced to pose for a mugshot. The arrest was confirmed by William Rincon, the newly-appointed director of Colombia’s National Police, who posted the dramatic footage online.
