D'Angelo Russell Waived By Grizzlies
D'Angelo Russell has been waived by the Memphis Grizzlies. Russell had been expected to be waived with the Grizzlies facing roster space issues. Russell was traded by the Washington Wizards to the Grizzlies this offseason. Russell never appeared in a game with the Wizards. Russell opted into the final season of his contract in June worth $6 million. In 26 games with the Dallas Mavericks last season, Russell averaged 10.2 points, 2.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 19.0 minutes.
