He’s got a lot of things to figure out in his head and his life before he starts to think about boxing or UFC again.” It comes after McGregor lasted just 69 seconds against Max Holloway, 34, earlier in July. This was McGregor’s first UFC bout for five years. But the fight was stopped after McGregor suffered a major knee injury. Now White has explained that McGregor is facing another lengthy layoff. McGregor has since confirmed that he has suffered injuries to his ACL and meniscus. He previously tore his ACL and meniscus against Holloway during his second UFC appearance in 2013. An ACL injury usually takes between six months and a year of recovery. His latest injury has raised significant questions over his future in the UFC.
