A DAD posed as his 11-year-old daughter on TikTok so he could lure her alleged rapist to his home and shoot him, cops said. Malik Chandler, 31, shot Diego Montoya Gonzalez, 20, after the girl’s mum found a video of him sexually assaulting her daughter at their Ohio home, prosecutors said. Chandler used his daughter’s TikTok account to bait Gonzalez back to their home the following day, where he shot him twice. He told investigators that he only intended to rough Gonzalez up, call the cops and wait for them to come and arrest him. Sign up for The Sun newsletter Thank you! But he claimed that he opened fire after seeing the alleged predator reach for the gun in his pocket. Police arrived to find Gonzalez sitting in a chair with two gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Chandler was charged with felony assault and had bond set at $100,000 (£74,000). Gonzalez was formally charged with five counts of pandering sexually oriented material, two counts of rape and one count of obstruction of official business. Several sickening videos showing the sexual abuse of children – including one clip of a baby or toddler – were found on his phone, prosecutors claimed. Most read in The Sun The girl’s parents were in the Franklin County Common Pleas Courtroom as Gonzalez pleaded not guilty at his arraignment on Monday. A neighbour of Malik’s told WSYX: “I can see why he went after him. It wasn’t a senseless thing.” A judge set a $70,000 (£52,000) bond, court records show. Should he be released, Gonzalez has been ordered to have no contact with the victim or her family, and cannot access the internet for anything other than work. It comes after an Ohio children’s doctor was arrested and fired after investigators allegedly found over 100 child sex abuse images at his home in Michigan. Pediatrician Bryan Shanley Sack, 43, faces felony charges including aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, possession of child sexually abusive material and use of a computer to commit a crime. He pleaded not guilty at an arraignment in May. At the time of his arrest, Sack was employed by Nationwide Children’s Hospital – Toledo as a pediatric urologist. He had been employed at the hospital for 18 months but was let go after his arrest, though none of the alleged crimes have been linked to his work there. The investigation was reportedly triggered by a tip-off from The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
