Dad forgets son, 10, at petrol station & drives for 90 MINUTES without realising… before cops pull him over

NewsWorld News AN oblivious dad drove 87 miles across Spain without realising he left his 10-year-old son stranded at a petrol station. The young boy was left standing alone at a service station near Aldea del Cano, Spain, at around 8.30pm on August 30. His family had no idea that the schoolboy was missing until police stopped them 87 miles away. Petrol station staff alerted the authorities of the stranded child, with officers from the Guardia Civil in Cáceres quickly stepping in to look after the him. After using a control centre to figure out the family’s route, the police worked out that the car was heading north towards Salamanca. They launched an immediate search along the A-66, a major motorway from southern Spain towards Gijón in the north, to find the vehicle. In a bizarre twist, police said the father appeared to be completely unaware that his 10-year-old son was not in the car, despite driving 87 miles without the child.
