The video received praise online for the jawans' quick response and kindness.CRPF jawans rush to rescue dog being swept away in stream, pull it to safety (Photos: @gharkekalesh/X)A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan was on his way to training when he spotted a dog being swept away in a canal and stopped to pull the frightened animal to safety.In a now-viral video shared by X account Ghar Ke Kalesh, CRPF jawan Avnish Kumar was seen joining another soldier in the rescue after they noticed the dog struggling in the muddy, fast-flowing water.In the clip, Avnish, dressed in his camouflage uniform and carrying a backpack, crouched on the rocks at the edge of the canal. He reached into the rushing water as the frightened brownish dog struggled against the current.Another jawan soon joined him, and together they carefully grabbed hold of the animal and pulled it out of the water. The soldiers lifted the soaked dog onto the rocks and secured it away from the current. Once the animal was safely out, the tension appeared to ease, with one of the jawans smiling at the successful rescue.According to the caption accompanying the video, Avnish Kumar had been travelling to training when he spotted the dog being swept away.
