Croydon fire LIVE: Sixty firefighters tackle large blaze at two-storey home

The Brigade's Drone Team was also deployed, providing the Incident Commander with an aerial view of the fire and using thermal imaging cameras to locate hot spots."Addiscombe Road was closed from the junction of Havelock Road and Birch Tree Way and we urged people to avoid the area where possible."Public urged to 'avoid the area'Members of the public have been urged to avoid the area around Addiscombe Road this morning, as emergency services are on the scene dealing with a large house fire.
