Now, as revealed during Webtoon's entertainment panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, even more Critical Role is heading to the platform. Namely, Critical Role: Vox Machina Origins, the acclaimed prequel comic series that follows a time before Vox Machina's mightiest heroes were a team. The official synopsis for the comic series can be read below: A mysterious curse plagues the coastal town of Stillben. Six would-be heroes traveling different roads meet, fight each other—then fight together—as they uncover a plot to destroy the city (and possibly themselves)! Meet Vox Machina. One day they'll save the world. Eventually. This marks the second Critical Role title to launch on Webtoon, a win for any Critter out there who wants to read more stories from Exandria on a platform where mobile-reading comes first and foremost. The tales of the legendary group Vox Machina have been told in a variety of different ways, such as the original actual-play Dungeons & Dragons campaign from Geek & Sundry, and then Critical Role, as well as Prime Video's animated adaptation.
