Craig’s fate is revealed (Picture: BBC / Metro) Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) was left with little choice but to defend herself in EastEnders, smacking disgraced cop Craig Ingram (Matthew James Bailey) over the head with a candlestick. The high-octane storyline, which saw groomer Craig hightail it out of Walford with teen Amy in tow, reached a dramatic peak last week when Jack (Scott Maslen) learned of the danger his daughter faced. Former mainstay Sean Slater (Rob Kazinsky), who shares a connection with Amy, returned to the Square just in time and has been aiding in the search for the missing girl. His clever plan to lure Amy and Craig out of hiding paid off, resulting in him confronting predator Craig outside the hospital. But Craig managed to evade his grasp and made off with Amy back to their bedsit once more. With Craig having become violent, Amy feared for her life and thus made a phone call to Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega), who was in the company of Sean at the time. But before she could reveal her whereabouts, Craig returned and hit her again. With the locks of the bedsit bolted, Amy headed to the bathroom, where she grabbed a candlestick and smacked dangerous Craig over the head. What a cliffhanger!
