Cowboys vs. Eagles Prediction: NFL Week 7 Best Bet and Odds

Both of these teams have struggled, posting 2-4 records through six games. They’re only 1.5 games behind the New York Giants (3-2-1) for the division lead, though.The key to this game will be injuries. The Eagles team has been decimated by crucial injuries, leaving them without several key players. They’re relying heavily on backups, specifically on the offensive side of the ball.Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith, and Dontayvion Wicks have all been ruled out as skill position players. Running backs Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley are currently on injured reserve, while tight ends Grant Calcaterra and Eli Stowers are also on IR. Along the offensive line, Lane Johnson retired, while Landon Dickerson is set to return.Philadelphia is expected to get some offensive reinforcement back in Saquon Barkley this week. He’ll be the focal point of the Dallas defense, though, with Tanner McKee starting at quarterback without his best two wide receivers.The Cowboys feature one of the worst defenses in the NFL, which is a concern. The Eagles could score some points on this type of defense, even with backups, but they also struggled against the Carolina Panthers last week.Granted, they’re dealing with different injuries in Week 7, and it’ll be easier to lean on Barkley than McKee, but they scored 14 total points against an average Carolina defense. They aren’t likely to score at an elite rate, even against Dallas.The Cowboys continue to find offensive success, ranking 10th in the NFL in points (0.403) per play. They’re averaging 25.2 points per game, and they’ve found success both at home and on the road in 2026.Simply put, the Eagles aren’t likely to feature an offense that can keep up with what Dallas is able to do. They’re going to need an incredible defensive performance to keep this game close.That isn’t out of the question, as we’ve seen Philadelphia limit some of the best offenses in the NFL. Still, they aren’t likely to find a ton of offensive success without several weapons, and the Cowboys are an offense that can score points in a hurry.
