Coronation Street’s Jodie finally confesses her crimes to police but a fresh discovery shocks

And yet, she continues to get away with her misdeeds… Until now, it seems. Next week, the day finally comes that they can bring their baby girl home, and they arrive back to a surprise party in celebration. When Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) visits Sarah in prison, she is quick to share the story of Jodie’s unexpected arrival and confession. Meanwhile, Lily Platt (Grace Ashcroft-Gardner) pulls Jodie aside and begins to question her about the trinket box she has found hidden under the couch, that Sarah had warned David and Shona about. When Shona and David question Jodie on the contents of the trinket box, how will she respond? Whatever is hidden inside has Lily feeling wary, and Jodie tries her best to win her round. However, this is Jodie, and apparently she is allergic to good deeds, and the only antidote is yet more mischief. So, it is hardly surprising when she later opens her laptop and creates a thread on a forum dedicated to new mums, pretending to be called Shona and describing her experience as a first-time mum who had a traumatic birth.
