Cops rescue child from drowning in Ilocos Sur

Personnel of the Sinait Tourist Police Assistance Center (TPAC) were conducting police presence at Maldives of Ilocandia in Barangay Dadalaquiten Sur when they heard family members calling for help. Police said the child, whose age was not immediately disclosed, encountered difficulty while swimming in the shallow waters near the shoreline. Personnel of the Sinait Municipal Police Station then transported the child to the nearest hospital for medical evaluation and treatment.
