Cops release e-fit of man after teenage girl ‘grabbed & sexually assaulted’ in field in broad daylight

DETECTIVES have released an e-fit of a suspect who allegedly grabbed and sexually assaulted a teen girl in a horror broad daylight attack. The reported incident occurred in St Leonards, Sussex, at around 3pm on Monday. A man approached the young girl in a field near Edinburgh Road before sexually assaulting her by touching, cops said. He is described as white, between 5’ 9” and 5’11”, aged in his early 30s to mid-40s, with light brown curly hair and stubble. At the time of the alleged incident he was wearing a red jacket and dark blue jeans. Police launched a probe into the horror and are appealing for any information that may assist them in their investigation. Sussex Police has now released an e-fit of the suspect and asked anyone with information to phone 101. Detective Sergeant Daisy Alden said: “The investigation continues to move at pace and our specially trained officers are supporting the victim. “We have released this efit of the suspect and are keen to hear from anyone who may know who he is or have information about him. Most read in The Sun “We are also appealing for any witnesses who were in the area who may have seen anyone of this description acting suspiciously or saw the incident to come forward. “We would also like to hear from anyone with relevant CCTV or doorbell footage which could help our investigation. “We understand the concern this has caused in the local community so please speak to our neighbourhood police officers who are in the area.”
