Cops hunt man in lobster outfit after victim in 20s suffers ‘significant injuries’ in fight at World Darts Championship

NewsUK News COPS are hunting a man dressed as a lobster after an assault outside the World Darts Championship. A man in his 20s was allegedly assaulted after running into a “group of men dressed as lobsters”, cops said. The Met Police released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to as part of their investigation. Cops said the alleged assault unfolded when a man in his 20s went to the World Darts Championship and left at around 4.30pm. Sign up for The Sun newsletter Thank you! As he left the venue, where he encountered a group of men dressed as lobsters on December 13, 2025. The police appeal said: “The victim and the group had an argument, and were separated by site security. “Shortly after, the victim was walking along the venue’s concourse when he ran into the group again. “One of the men then punched him, knocking him unconscious.” The man went to hospital with serious injuries and then contacted police. Detective Constable Lizzie Coster, who is leading the investigation, said: “Our thoughts are with the victim in this case, and we hope the best for his recovery. Most read in The Sun “This assault occurred outside at a major sporting event, and the suspect was wearing a distinctive costume. “We are releasing a CCTV image of the suspect in the hope that it will jog the memory of attendees, or anyone else who was in the area at the time.” Anybody with information is urged to call 101, quoting 6879/13DEC
