Cops hunt BMW driver walking on busy A-road after two children, 12 & 13, seriously injured in crash before he fled

POLICE have released CCTV of a BMW driver who fled the scene after two children were seriously injured in a horror crash. A black BMW reportedly crashed into two stationary cars on the A13 in Farnham, Surrey, on July 26 before the driver left on foot. Surrey Police said he is described as a Black man in his twenties, wearing a black Nike top, black shorts and a pair of sliders with no socks. He was last seen fleeing through the undergrowth, heading towards Farnham town centre. The force said: “Can you help us identify this man? “We are looking to speak to him in connection with a serious collision in Farnham last month. “Officers were called to the A31 Farnham Bypass on Sunday, 26 July at around 2.45pm following a collision involving three vehicles: a black BMW 3 series, a white Toyota Yaris, and a grey BMW 330.” A spokesperson previously said: “It is reported that the driver of the black BMW collided with the other vehicles, both of which were stationary, and fled the scene on foot. Most read in The Sun “Two children aged 12 and 13, who were passengers in one of the other vehicles, sustained serious injuries from the collision and were admitted to hospital.” They continued: “Were you in the area around the A31 Farnham Bypass between 2.40pm and 2.50pm on Sunday, 26 July? Did you see or hear anything that you think we should know about? “We are asking anyone who may have witnessed this collision, or who may have CCTV, dashcam, or helmet cam footage that may have captured all or part of this incident, to get in touch.”
