Cooper Flagg Out Indefinitely With Left Shoulder Sprain
Dallas Mavericks forward Cooper Flagg will be out indefinitely due to a sprained left shoulder. The Mavs ruled Flagg out for Saturday's home opener and said the second-year forward would be re-evaluated next week. Flagg was hurt on a play where he was flagrantly fouled by Indiana Pacers wing Aaron Nesmith. The play occurred with a minute to play in the first half. Flagg stayed in the game and made both free throws, but was subbed out immediately after and did not return.
