Ty Gibbs has climbed his way to second place in the NASCAR Cup Series this year. He trails Hamlin by 103 points for first, so he will try to close that gap tonight. Gibbs earned his second victory of the season last week, which helped him accrue 69 points. If Gibbs performs similarly tonight, then he could overtake Hamlin in a couple of weeks.
