But hours after weighing in one pound below the 147 limit, a video began to circulate with a set of scales displaying 178.4lbs, with reports suggesting he has rehydrated to that weight. He clearly set the scale 10 or 15 pounds higher without showing the 0 and stood to play mind games. Come on, guys.” A second said: “Who actually believes this bs 30 pounds in 12 hours since the morning weigh in…” While a third added: “2 and a half stone in a matter of hours? Yeh didn’t happen.” While Benn did complete an insane 34lb cut in order to take the fight, fans don’t believe he’s put almost all of it back on just hours afterwards. Benn was first on the scales at 9.01am – 10mins before American Garcia scaled in at 145lb in Sin City – and looked dehydrated but determined as he even sneaked in 1lb under at 146lb.
