Confiscated lumber donated for shelters of Sarangani quake survivors

In the aftermath of the June magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Sarangani Province, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Region 9 (DENR-9) took an innovative step by repurposing confiscated lumber into essential shelter materials for displaced families. This generous donation of 7,518.75 board feet of lumber provides much-needed relief and stability for those rebuilding their lives.
