Confidential tax info given to DHS?

BOSTON — A federal court in Massachusetts found the Social Security Administration gave a deficient administrative record to a group of challenges challenging the SSA’s decision to share personal information about 700,000 non-citizens living in the U.S. with the Department of Homeland Security. The missing information will help determine whether the SSA had shared confidential tax information protected by the Internal Revenue Code.
