The Commonwealth Games got underway on Thursday, July 23. They will round off just over a week later on Sunday, August 2, with a closing ceremony, and the finishing of a few events. The Commonwealth Games 2026 are being hosted in Glasgow, Scotland, after original hosts Victoria, Australia pulled out. The games were previously held in Glasgow in 2014. How to watch Commonwealth Games 2026 For the first time in the history of the Commonwealth Games, they will not be shown on free TV. Instead, the Commonwealth Games will be shown on TNT Sports, and on streaming platform HBO Max, with more than 600 hours of live action to come over the 11 days.
