Column: AI is helpful tool, but dangerous master
I’ve taught in the Humanities Division at the University of Hawaii-Hilo for over 40 years, and my favorite wall poster in our Edith Kanakaole Hall advises this: “Celebrate What Makes You Human.” These words remind me to reflect on what makes us humans different from a doorstop, toothbrush or machine. What makes us humans so very special in this world?
