Bodycare chief executive Charles Denton, said: “Derby is known across centuries for giving people the resources and equipment to make something valuable. “By combining retail with live content, creator experiences and expert-led brand events, the format allows customers to discover emerging products, trends and advice in an interactive environment.” This store is one of 17 set to open this year, with the beauty brand already debuting its first bricks-and-mortar location in Sheffield last month. Previously, all 147 Bodycare branches were forced to shut after plunging into administration, with the retailer unable to secure a buyer for the chain of stores. However, in October, it was announced that Bodycare would return after being acquired by a group of investors led by Charles Denton, former CEO of The Body Shop.
