Cole Palmer tells Chelsea pal Morgan Rogers he will ‘have bailiffs at door’ if he uses trademarked ice cold celebration

COLE PALMER has warned new Chelsea signing Morgan Rogers he will send the bailiffs round if he uses his ice cold celebration. The close pals, who played together at Manchester City and have been reunited at Stamford Bridge after Rogers’ £117million move, both use the shivering celebration. The two have been messaging over the summer, constantly talking after Rogers told the No10 he was closing in on a move to west London despite being a key target for Arsenal. I’ve trademarked it so if he tries to do anything, he’ll have the bailiffs at his door! “Nah, we’ll do it together.” While Palmer had the summer off, the new British record signing was with England at the World Cup, meaning he will not join up with his new teammates until they return from their pre-season tour of Australia and Asia. Rogers and Palmer grew up playing in the same side together at Manchester City, as well as with the Three Lions, and the No10 has no concerns about how they will combine – especially given how close they are. He added: “I always speak to him but when I heard Chelsea were trying to sign him, I was texting him even more. He was probably sick of me but at least he’s here now. So it was a difficult secret to keep. But I kept it! “Is he a next-level signing? Of course. Everyone knows how good he is. Obviously he’s one of my best friends so I’m very happy about it. “We’re two different players. He’s more physical than me, on and off the ball. He likes to drive with it. I like to play passes. I think we can play well together, and we played together when we were young.” Comment now
