The company’s chairman also personally messaged her to check on her.“No wonder our parents were so loyal to their employers,” Babuurajan wrote in his post on X that has gone viral with over 34,000 views. The experience also drew comparisons with the treatment some employees have received from their employers during family emergencies.One person, who said they had worked in the corporate sector for around 16 years, said family-owned businesses were better than “so-called professionally managed businesses.” Another praised the company for considering an employee’s emotions, saying, “It is appreciable that the company thinks about employees’ emotions, but other companies don’t have the guts.”One of the users also recalled not being granted leave on the day their mother died. Instead, their manager asked them to hand over their project to a colleague.
