Coimbatore Book Festival begins

The 10th Coimbatore Book Festival began at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex on Friday, offering visitors access to books from over 200 publishers besides a host of literary, cultural and educational programmes.The 10-day festival will continue till July 26 and is open to visitors from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.More than 400 stalls have been set up at the venue, and the organisers expect the festival to attract over one lakh visitors. Entry to the fair is free.The Hindu Group is participating in the book fair at Hall A (Stalls 83 and 84), featuring books published by the group, including editorial compilations, children’s titles, history books and coffee-table publications.
