Coady leaves Wrexham by mutual consent

Conor Coady has left Wrexham following the mutual termination of his contract with the club.The centre-back joined the Red Dragons on a permanent deal from Leicester City during the 2025 summer transfer window for an undisclosed fee, believed to be around £2m.He recently entered the final year of his contract with the club - who held the option to extend his deal by an additional 12 months.But it has been confirmed that Coady has departed the Racecourse Ground.A club statement read: "All at Wrexham AFC would like to thank Conor for his efforts while with the club and wish him well for the future."It comes as Wrexham are closing in on a deal to sign central defender Joe Worrall from Championship rivals Burnley.
