AMSTERDAM, Aug 24 - A coach carrying high-school students from Germany crashed in the east of the Netherlands early on Monday, injuring eight people, who were taken to hospital, Dutch police said."Some of the victims taken to the hospital are seriously injured," the police department of Gelderland province said in a post on X. Other people suffered minor injuries in the accident.The coach, which carried more than 50 people, according to a police spokesperson, crashed near the town of Wezep, some 100 km (62 miles) east of Amsterdam around 4 a.m. (0200 GMT) due to a collision with a delivery van, whose driver was among the injured victims.The A28 highway was closed in both directions following the accident.
