The duo, who boast over 141,000 followers on TikTok, also own a launderette, so they definitely know what they’re talking about. In a recent video, the mum of two shared her super-easy flower hack for all homeowners to try – and it only costs 69p. She explains that all you need to do is add a few drops of bleach into a full vase of fresh flowers. Then do the same thing again later on when you swap out the water for a fresh vase. Some brands of bleach, including Easy Bleach Seriously Thick, can be picked up for just 69p in supermarkets like Tesco. Most read in Fabulous In the clip, shared on Facebook, Hazel said: “Got a hack for you for those fresh flowers, right.” Holding up the flower food packets in one hand and a bottle of bleach in the other, she adds: “So this is your little gel that you pop in the water, and this is a bit of bleach. “So what am I going in with for in that water? I’m going in with the bleach. “Just a couple of wee drops in the water purifies it, cleans it and keeps your flowers lasting a whole lot longer and fresher. “Same again when you go to renew your water, just another couple of drops. So I would not use the stuff that you get with your flowers. “I would go in with your wee bit of bleach, and that is a wee top tip right there for you for keeping those flowers fresher for longer.” The clip has racked up more than 8,300 views since it was shared last week.
