Claude now lets you manually trigger your own weekly reset, but you only get one

Fortunately, if you're a Claude user, it seems the AI company has thrown everyone a bone, albeit a limited one. Claude users are reporting a button that lets you reset your weekly limit with a single click, but don't get too used to it; it's only around for one month, and you only get one, so use it wisely. Claude will give you one weekly reset from now until October 22nd It's intended to let you explore Opus 5.5 more freely As spotted by people on the ClaudeAI subreddit and in our own testing, the AI assistant now has a button that lets you reset your weekly usage. It's totally free to do, and it will also reset your five-hour limit in case you've hit that. After you activate the reset, your new weekly quota does not start from the day you clicked the button; it still resets on your usual schedule. There are just two caveats: first, you only get one. Once you click the button, that's it; no more freebies for now. Second, the offer is only available until October 22nd. So, save that button press for when you really, truly need it, but don't hoard it either. The way Anthropic advertised the button makes it seem like a way to give people a chance to try Opus 5.5 and encourage people to subscribe to the new model. As such, there's a chance we may see this button reappear when Anthropic releases a new model it wants people to experience. However, this may also be the last time Anthropic does this, so savor it while you still can.
