Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao on Friday questioned the ongoing protests by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) over the NEET paper leak, claiming that those participating "do not appear to be genuine students" but people sent by political parties.Commenting on the demonstrations being held in Delhi and Raipur, Sao said actual students are focused on their studies, while the protesters seem to be politically motivated."The people participating in the agitation do not appear to be real students. They seem to have been sent by political parties. Students who are studying are busy with their education. The delegation has been heard, and everyone should present their views in a disciplined manner," he said.The CJP has been staging a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and sweeping reforms in the examination system following the alleged NEET paper leak. The party has alleged irregularities in competitive examinations and has been pressing the government for greater accountability. Separately, responding to the Congress' criticism of the BJP's two-day organisational meeting, Sao rejected allegations of factionalism within the party."Congress should not impose its internal politics on the BJP.
