Kinahan had been flying on a British passport and had been connected to the region since 2007 – often making frequent flights before making his stay permanent in 2016. On the rare occasions he did leave Dubai, it was to attend conferences on the airline industry in Zimbabwe when he posed as a legitimate businessman. The decision to deport him from the country he called home has now left his youngest son, Christopher, 45, isolated. The source added: “Christopher Junior will be coming under even more pressure now.” The last two times the Dapper Don was in Ireland was in October 1997 when he attended his father’s funeral and also for his youngest son’s wedding in 2006.
