Christina takes drastic action on Coronation Street amid devastation over daughter’s murder

| Freelance Soaps Reporter Published October 3, 2026 5:00pm Christina’s desperate for answers about the murdered daughter she never got to meet (Picture: ITV) Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) is grieving the daughter she never knew on Coronation Street. Every Corrie fan worth their salt knows that Christine is the mother of the infamous Rovers’ barmaid Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan). But nobody except the lady herself knew that she had a second daughter, the result of an affair who she gave up years ago. Sadly, there was no touching mother/daughter reuinion on the cards. Rachel, Christina’s daughter was brutally murdered and the prime suspect is her husband and Tim Metcalfe’s (Joe Duttine) cousin, Richie Parkinson (Nathan Sussex) , who is currently locked up for the vicious crime. Christina made this huge discovery quite by accident, during her work at the funeral parlour while her boyfriend/boss George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley)was training her on the digital filing system. It was like someone walked over Christina’s gave as she stared athe file of Rachel Parkinson. Not only was the daughter she gave away the victim of murder, but Rachel’s daughter, Lucy Parkinson (Anya Dewin), Christina’s granddaughter, was alive and living with Tim and Sally (Sally Dynevor) on the street. However, Christina might be less keen for a family reunion when she discovers that Lucy might have killed her own mother, The traumatised teen suffered a panic attack recently, where Sally and Tim quickly comforted her. ‘It’s all my fault!’, Lucy screamed in terror. Was she talking about the murder? Does this means she killed her mum? That would tally with Richie’s insistence that she ‘stick to the story’. Christina may regret getting to know Lucy. Christina’s not going to stay away from Lucy as she’s determined to be a part of her granddaughter’s life while honouring her departed daughter in upcoming episodes of Coronation Street. But will her efforts back fire? Christina watches as Lucy heads towards No.4. George urges caution but Christina ignores him and, painting on a smile, heads over. Sally calls at the café and is unimpressed to find Lucy bunking off school and enjoying a drink with Christina. Sally orders Lucy home and parks herself opposite Christina. Sally agrees to speak to social services and take their advice, but spells out to Christina that until then she must keep her distance as Lucy is a vulnerable child. Will Christina listen to Sally? Will Sally get through to Christina? (Picture: ITV) At the undertakers, George and Todd are thrown into panic when they discover Rachel’s ashes have gone and there’s no sign of Christina. George finds Christina sitting on the swings in the precinct, clutching the urn containing Rachel’s ashes. What will Christina do?
