It took me ten minutes to be able to move off my pillow and get out of the bed and stand up,” the “Dead to Me” actress explained on Tuesday’s episode of her “MeSsy” podcast, which she co-hosts with “Sopranos” alum Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who has MS. Applegate, 54, said that when she got up, she “almost couldn’t walk to the bathroom, and now a walker is sitting next to my bed because of what’s going on.” Christina Applegate (seen here) detailed her debilitating mobility issues after her MS misdiagnosis. Something new is happening. It took 10 minutes just to sit my head up, just to move without excruciating pain and weakness.” The actress (seen here during a “GMA” interview) explained that she “almost couldn’t walk to the bathroom” and now she has a walker next to her bed. ABC News Last week, Applegate shockingly revealed that doctors told her she doesn’t have MS, after spending the last five years detailing her assumed battle with the chronic autoimmune disease. “[My doctor] came into my room and said, ‘Congratulations, you don’t have MS,’” she recalled on the Oct. 20 episode of her podcast. “I was, like, not happy at all. Everybody else was so happy.” The mom of one called her misdiagnosis a “mindf—k” and said she’s still suffering from debilitating symptoms. “I haven’t gotten better, Jamie! If anything, I’ve gotten worse,” she said last week. “So I’m back at square one where I don’t know what’s going on with me.” Applegate (seen here at her Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony in 2022) explained that her next step is to visit a rheumatologist and then “go from there.” Getty Images The Emmy Awards winner (seen here at the 2023 Critics Choice Awards) admitted going to the doctor “overwhelms” her because she struggles to move around.
