It's been announced that Regal and Amazon MGM Studios are bringing The Terminal List to the big screen with a special one-night-only presentation of The Terminal List season 2 premiere in Regal RPX. It will give audiences a chance to experience the return of the action series at approximately 75 locations in Regal’s exclusive premium format one day before the new season debuts on Prime Video. RPX, which is short for Regal Premium Experience, refers to Regal’s exclusive premium format. According to the official press release, it is “designed to deliver an elevated moviegoing experience.” This is accomplished through larger screens, enhanced laser projection, and state-of-the-art audio technology. Some auditoriums also offer haptic seating technology, such as Lumma’s Magnify 8 and ButtKicker. The latter aims ”to add synchronized vibration with the action taking place on screen.” Those interested in securing seats for the October 20th presentation of The Terminal List season 2 can do so at participating Regal RPX locations with the purchase of a $20 concession voucher available at select theatre box offices. They can also do so via the mobile app and through the website. News of the special presentation was accompanied by a statement from Brooks LeBoeuf, Senior Vice President of U.S. Content at Regal, who noted in part the goal to make “James Reece’s next mission into an experience made to be shared.” This is a refrence to the show's long-awaited return, which will find Pratt's character searching for new purpose after finishing his list. Reece gets that opportunity once he's cornered by the CIA. In particular. Reece has to clear his name by “stopping a resurgent terrorist group that has turned a former ally to their cause.” It's a thriller that spans the globe, encompassing a conspiracy that stretches from Moscow to Langley and even Reece’s own family history.
