Actor Chris Evans has said goodbye to the home where he became Captain America. The Marvel star sold his contemporary-style Hollywood Hills estate, complete with the gym where he trained for the superhero role, for about $5.4 million. Evans bought the property for $3.5 million in 2013.The final price is quite the discount from the nearly $7 million tag attached when the home was initially listed in May 2025. “The West Coast is beautiful, and I’ve spent so many years enjoying Los Angeles, but I’ve decided to spend more time on the East Coast,” he said in a press release at the time. The residence was most recently listed for about $6.4 million. The home’s kitchen. During his tenure there, the actor made upgrades to “enhance the beauty of the view and make the yard into an entertainer’s paradise,” Evans added. Indeed, terraces and stone pathways are tucked amongst landscaped gardens throughout the 0.76-acre lot, providing numerous spots to relax while taking in the vista—including a swimming pool and spa overlooking Laurel Canyon. The home’s backyard.
