CHELSEA’s Carabao Cup clash against Leeds United has been delayed due to issues with the rail network. The announcement was made in the stadium over the tannoy, much to the dismay of Leeds supporters who chanted “I want to go home”. It is understood that there was a casualty on the track which has caused the disruption, as well as a points failure at High Street Kensington. The club were only able to announce the delay 15 minutes before kick-off. The clubs meet in the third round of the competition with Chelsea not in Europe this season.
