Chelsea ‘looking to hijack European champions’ £40million transfer for league’s defender of the year, 21′
AI Summary
Chelsea is reportedly keen on poaching Marco Palestra from Inter Milan, aiming to strengthen their defense under new boss Xabi Alonso. The 21-year-old Italian defender, who was named Serie A's best last season, could be a perfect fit. Palestra spent last season on loan at Cagliari from Atalanta, showing his potential and why top clubs are interested. This move could shake up the transfer market, especially if Chelsea manages to lure him away from Inter's plans.
