Chelsea fans face second game with travel chaos getting to Stamford Bridge

There will be rail replacement bus services in operation at Earl’s Court.Fulham Broadway station, the nearest station to Stamford Bridge, will be impacted by the part closure of the District line.It will be the second time in the space of just four days that travel disruption will impact fans getting to Stamford Bridge for a Chelsea match.The game was supposed to begin at 8pm BST but instead commenced at 8:15pm.A statement released via Chelsea’s official social media channels and also displayed on the big screen at Stamford Bridge informed fans of the new kick-off time.At 7:40pm, Chelsea posted on X: “There will be a 15 minute delay to kick-off for our Carabao Cup third round tie with Leeds United tonight. The match will now begin at 20:15 BST.”
