Charlotte Tilbury’s new loose powder is the best I’ve tried – it’s a must-have for mature skin

CHARLOTTE Tilbury fans have been calling out for a loose powder for years, and it’s finally here. The iconic brand just expanded its Airbrush Flawless range with TWO new products, and as a loyal pressed powder fan, I’m officially converted. The powder is infused with skincare and comes with a heart-shaped powder puff Airbrush Flawless Blur Loose Powder, £40 I’ve been using the OG Airbrush Flawless Powder for years now, as every loose powder I’ve tried left me looking dry and cakey. The Airbrush Flawless Blur comes in translucent and brightening pink shades. I’ve been using the Brightening Pink shade mostly for blurring my eye bags and Translucent Fair/ Medium across my forehead, chin and T-zone, but the pink option does also work as a great all-rounder. The loose powder controls shine without caking Airbrush Flawless Blur Loose Powder, £40 Paired with my beloved Beautiful Skin Foundation (read my roundup of the best foundations for dry skin) and finished with the Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, make-up stays firmly in place all day. Most read in Shopping Unlike others I’ve tried, the powder doesn’t gather in dry patches or sink into fine lines, which is why it’s a great option for mature skin. Charlotte Tilbury’s packaging just keeps getting better, serving up gorgeous designs and practicality. Charlotte Tilbury’s packaging keeps getting better The mesh sifter is genius, dispensing only a light dusting of product at once to prevent over-application and wasted product. The click and seal jar stops any handbag leaks, and acts as a case for the star of the show, the heart powder puff. Yes, it’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen, but it also feels high-quality with a microfibre design that grips the powder, and a rounded tip for reaching the corner of the eyes. I also tried the new Airbrush Flawless Blush Blur, the first blush to incorporate the brand’s signature airbrush technology. The blush features the brand’s signature Powder Blur technology Airbrush Flawless Blush Blur, £35 There’s matte finish options and Swish and Pop shades (which I tested in shade Pillow Talk). Another signature of the brand, the Swish and Pop technique adds dimension to the face with its two tones. The shade gives a more subtle finish, while the matte options come in brighter hues. Both products have secured spots in my make-up routine, and I’m officially a loose powder convert.
