Following last month’s cancellation of Daredevil: Born Again, Charlie Cox is fueling hope that some blind justice will prevail. While teasing the third and final season of the Disney+ series with his co-stars at New York Comic Con, the actor shouted out fans behind the “Save Daredevil” campaign as the panel’s moderator mentioned the show’s pending conclusion. “Wait, what?” asked the Matt Murdock actor jokingly, sparking “boo”s from disappointed fans. Cox added, “All I’ll the say is, I imagine the ‘Save Daredevil‘ campaign will be gearing up for round two. Listen, we don’t want to invite the wrath of the ‘Save Daredevil‘ people.” Watch on Deadline The “Save Daredevil” fan campaign began in 2018 in response to Netflix’s cancellation of Daredevil after three seasons. The show was revived last year as Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+ with Cox reprising his role as the title vigilante. Last month, Deadline confirmed that Daredevil: Born Again will end after its third season, which has wrapped and is set for a 2027 premiere. The cast includes Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson and Wilson Bethel as Bullseye, with confirmed Season 3 Defenders reunion with cameos from Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage and Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist.
