Channel 4 secures shock last-minute deal to air historic final for FREE this Sunday

CHANNEL 4 have secured the last-minute deal to broadcast the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations final. The historic match will see tournament debutant Malawi face three-time runners-up Cameroon in Rabat, Morocco. Malawi have also overcome Ghana and Algeria in the knockout rounds with impressive performances. This has earned them the chance of glory at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium against Cameroon. The team has been boosted by sisters Temwa and Tabitha Chawinga, who have been standout performers. The match will now be shown for FREE on Sunday on Channel 4 with coverage starting at 7.30pm. The broadcast will be presented by Julia Stuart, who will be joined by pundits Anita Asante and Fern Whelan. Ayo Akinwolere will be reporting from pitchside and commentary will be covered by Ellen Ellard and Courtney Sweetman-Kirk.
