Cendaña slams Senate for shielding ‘fugitive’ Dela Rosa

Akbayan party-list Rep. Perci Cendaña said the Senate is undermining its own institution, noting that instead of peacefully surrendering Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, who is the subject of a warrant of arrest from the International Criminal Court (ICC), the chamber was used to help him evade law enforcement. Cendaña stressed that the Senate’s role is
