The new supernatural sitcom, which premiered on Thursday, October 8, is a sister series of Ghosts. Created by the co-showrunners of the long-running CBS hit Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, Eternally Yours follows Charles (Ed Weeks) and Liz (Allegra Edwards), a vampire couple whose immortal marriage hits a rough patch when their daughter, Emma (Helen J. Shen), brings home her mortal boyfriend, Max (Jaren Lewison). The new series debuted well ahead of Ghosts season 6, which will be returning to CBS mid-season. Eternally Yours' premiere may have been a quieter affair than it would've been if Ghosts were coming back, as well, but the young series had some good fortune when it comes to reviews and reception. According to Rotten Tomatoes, the series is averaging an 80% rating from reviews after just one episode on the air.
