For the 2026 examinations, the Board had released a tentative datesheet on September 24, 2025, followed by the final schedule on October 30, 2025. This time, students have received the final timetable in November, without the same early tentative schedule announcement.CBSE has attributed the preparation of the timetable to the completion of the List of Candidates (LOC) submission by schools. The Board said it now has final data on the subject combinations selected by students. More than 40,000 subject combinations were considered while preparing the schedule to ensure that no two examinations opted for by an individual student clash. The Board has also factored in the tentative schedules of major entrance examinations for Class 12 students, gaps between commonly combined subjects, examination centre requirements and the availability of teachers during evaluation.WHAT STUDENTS SHOULD KNOWThe early release of the timetable is expected to help students organise their preparation and reduce last-minute uncertainty. It will also allow families to plan travel and other engagements during the summer vacation around the examination and evaluation schedules.CBSE said the advance announcement would help schools plan academic support for board classes and make arrangements at examination centres. It would also help ensure that teachers are not away from schools for prolonged periods during the evaluation process, allowing academic activities for non-board classes to continue.Students can access the date sheet through the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in or check the direct link here.Direct link to check CBSE board exam datesheet 2027- Ends
