We’ll begin at No. 10 and work our way up. 10. Michigan Michigan begins this list of offensive lines led by right tackle Andrew Sprague. He is elite in pass protection and should be good for QB Bryce Underwood. Jake Guarnera is a solid center and has over 700 snaps of college football experience and Evan Link should take over one of the guard spots. There is a battle for the left tackle spot, but the Wolverines should be able to embody new head coach Kyle Whittingham’s toughness. 9. Iowa Iowa’s offensive line won the Joe Moore Award in 2025 so they return a really good group in 2026. Kade Pieper returns to lead the unit at guard, where he was selected as a preseason All-American. Although there’s speculation he’ll go to center. Leighton Jones and Trent Wilson should be the guards to his right and left after logging triple digit snaps last year. Mike Myslinski will be interesting to watch, especially if Iowa wants to put Pieper back at guard. 8. Indiana All-American left tackle Carter Smith is the unquestioned leader of this offensive line. He’s seen it all, winning a national title last year and is back to help Indiana make another run. Transfer Joe Brunner comes in from Wisconsin and could be one of the top guards in the country. Drew Evans is slated to start at center as well and the Hoosiers should be good with depth going into the fall. 7. Tennessee Tennessee is up next in the CBS offensive line rankings going into 2026. The Volunteers return four starters up front for this fall. David Sanders Jr. is at left tackle and played in more than half of the games last year as a true freshman. Wendell Moe Jr. and Sam Pendleton have 2,500 and 1,300 snaps, respectively. Jesse Perry, who played tackle and guard, is expected to play guard this season. 6. Notre Dame Notre Dame nearly cracked the top five among offensive lines in college football, led by Anthonie Knapp, who played tackle the last two years. He’s expected to move inside where he can really showcase his run blocking ability. Guerby Lambert and Will Black should start at both tackle positions in 2026 and Joe Otting might anchor the line at center. It’ll depend upon the health of Ashton Craig, who suffered another ACL injury last year. The depth is Notre Dame’s strong suit, should this should be a steadier unit than last year. 5. Oklahoma The Sooners were decimated with injuries across the offensive line in recent years, but at full health, this is a top five unit. It’s a veteran squad with nearly 100 career starts combined. Michael Fasusi is the star at left tackle after starting in 2025. Jake Maikkula has a lot of experience as well, holding more than 1,800 career snaps in college. 4. Texas The Longhorns have quite the group of offensive linemen. Wake Forest transfer Melvin Siani should plug right into right tackle and Brandon Baker will be moved inside to guard. Trevor Goosby is the star of the show though. The left tackle could be the top prospect in the NFL Draft and is certainly, pound for pound, one of the best offensive linemen in college football. 3. Kentucky Malachi Wood stars for the Kentucky offensive line at right tackle with nearly 400 career snaps coming into the 2026 season. On the other side, Lance Heard transferred in from Tennessee, but brings nearly 2,000 career snaps to the table. Kentucky also landed Baylor transfer Coleton Price, who has 2,200 career snaps in college. He’ll start at center going into 2026 and not only that, Kentucky brought in Tegra Tshabola from Ohio State and he’ll go to left guard. 2. Ohio State Ohio State returns an experienced offensive line to the table, despite the unit struggling a bit in 2025. Carson Hinzman stars for the group with almost 2,200 career snaps, thriving in pass protection as well as zone-run schemes. Phillip Daniels is back at right tackle and he could have the best NFL skill of the entire group. Luke Montgomery and Austin Siereveld are fellow returning starters. 1. Georgia Now we get to the top offensive line in college football down in Athens. The Bulldogs are led by center Drew Bobo, who some regard as the top at his position. Dontrell Glover started on the line last year as a freshman and is one of the better interior players in the country. Speaking of young players, Zykie Helton is expected to start as a true freshman as well, just showing the quality of players brought in by Georgia.
