Caught on CCTV: Girl beaten on way to coaching class, ex-friend among 2 accused

Police have arrested Yogesh Rawat, while his accomplice, Yuvraj Rawat, remains on the run.The footage shows two girls walking along a road when the accused approach them from behind on a motorcycle. The rider stops and is seen hitting the girl twice on the head. After a brief conversation, he hits her again.The group then moves further down the road, with the rider stopping again and appearing to verbally abuse the girl while making hand gestures. The two men are then seen riding away. The girl did not initially report the incident to the police. But after the CCTV footage surfaced and went viral on social media, police began investigating the case.Based on the video, police identified the two and reached their homes, but they were already on the run. While Yogesh was subsequently arrested, a manhunt is on to locate Yuvraj.Police called the girl to the station and registered a case against both accused.During questioning, Yogesh confessed that he had known the student earlier and that the two had been friends.
